In this limited edition, we celebrate a special football story.

After a yo-yo period, Leicester City appointed Claudio Ranieri for the 2015/16 season. In a whirlwind start, Jamie Vardy set the Premier League record for scoring in consecutive matches and on Christmas Day, Leicester topped the table having been bottom 12 months earlier.

On 2 May 2016, having started the season as 5,000-1 outsiders, Leicester won the Premier League for the first time. In a surprise that attracted global attention, Leicester’s team were dubbed the ‘Unbelievables’ and numerous newspapers described the title as the greatest sporting shock ever.

Five years later, something unbelievable happened again. Leicester’s first ever FA Cup triumph captured the hearts of both the city and the nation. They fell in the final of the most prestigious cup competition four times between 1949 and 1969 and then didn’t get a look-in for decades. In 2021, the win over Chelsea was all the sweeter because the Foxes got to play in front of their fans for the first time since March 2020.
